Refer a Client

Referrers can introduce a prospective client to Sportsultants with the person's knowledge and consent. We will assess the matter, confirm whether we can assist, and agree the scope of work and professional fee directly with the client.

Where a referral commission is appropriate and permitted, the terms will be agreed in writing before work begins. Indicative commissions may range from 2% to 10%, depending on the circumstances and subject to applicable laws and professional obligations. Any commission is subject to an individual written agreement, applicable laws and professional rules, conflict checks, client consent where required, and the nature of the engagement. No commission is guaranteed, and Sportsultants may decline a referral or determine that a commission cannot lawfully or ethically be paid in a particular matter.

From time to time, Sportsultants works alongside trusted professionals within the sports industry, including lawyers, agents, intermediaries and consultants, to support clients and deliver work collaboratively.

We welcome discussions with professionals who have an existing client engagement requiring complementary expertise, or who see an opportunity to work jointly with us on a matter.

Depending on the engagement, responsibilities and contribution of each party, an appropriate fee allocation can be agreed in advance and documented in writing. Illustrative arrangements could include 60/40, 50/50 or 40/60 splits; these are examples rather than standard rates.
